Let’s not start to dismiss the notion of “Cool” altogether, because self esteem is also important.We all need to gain respect and acceptance to feel good about ourselves. Even more important, and the one thing we have total control over, is what we actually do with our own abilities.That’s what self-esteem is all about. And if thinking you look cool or good in a pair of designer sunglasses reinforces that perception and self esteem and encourages you to be confident and assertive, then where’s the harm in that?
